Company
J Eleftheriades Offset Printers Ltd, which has been around for the past 42 years in the graphic design industry, enjoys a very high standing in todays cyprus market, both for its products as well as for its services. The company has established its own tradition in the printing business since 1965, when it first began operating when it was set up by Mr Mihalis Eleftheriades. Since then the company has expanded at an alarming rate having as its fundamental goal high calibre professional performance and continuous technological upgrades. The company, through the introduction of pioneering printing equipment, has maintained firmly its response to growing demand of its products while offering high quality to its customers.
1965-1986
Under the management of Mihalis Eleftheriades, the company deals with general printing work.
1986
The Company J. Eleftheriades Offset Printing Ltd is set up in Cyprus on 11 January 1986 under the management of Yiannakis Eleftheriades. It continues to operate with the sole aim to print colour paper packaging. Its customers comprise mainly firms producing soft drinks, alcohol, foodstuff, drugs, cosmetics and other products.
1994
The Company enters into agreement with Mead Corporation having the exclusive sale of Mead products, marking the beginning of multipack production.
1997
As part of its strategy to expand its activities in other related sectors, BIETIK Ltd was set up as a sister company, having the printing of self-adhesive labels to mark products as its main activity. Its main customers include companies dealing with food, plant fertilisers and soft drinks as well as companies which want to use the label as a means of supporting their produces.
2001
The Company continues to upgrade its technology through the purchase and installation of high tech UV flexographic printing machine to print on flexible material such as BOPP, OPP, PET etc for the packaging of food (dairy produce, meat, dry nuts etc). and the labelling of soda and water bottles with plastic material. This technology gives the upper hand to the Company to develop in a field where most packaging produce is imported in the Cypriot market.
2002
The Company adds to its prestige and credibility in the printing industry by developing a system of quality control in line with model ISO 9001 of 2000, which it still retains to date.
2003
The Company increases productivity by acquiring a new machine which specialises in digital printing of labels and has the possibility to use many self-adhesive material as well as immediate delivery within 24 hours.
2006
The company has invested in the purchase of a six-colour printing machine for OFFSET. Investment efforts have also been made for obtaining special mechanical appliances for the development of films and the preparation of printing plates and cliche.
Today
Today Company products and the Company itself are renown for their very good quality as well as their reliability. This is due to the customer service system which the company applies, which covers the entire duration of service right from the first contact with the customer to define the specifications of the work needed and the preparation of a tender, up until the quality control and the delivery within the time limits set by the customers.
